Guests comments:The Mercure Hotel Auckland is set in a fantastic spot at the bottom of Auckland's main street and is very convenient for most city attractions and the surrounding CBD. The rooms are comfortable enough without being anything too fancy. The desks in each room are quite long and good for needing to do some work. The bay windows are nice and we loved the views from the higher harbour facing rooms and from the gym. The auckland hotel mercure top level restaurant is worth a visit if only for the view and an early evening drink. Staff were helpful without being overbearing. Also handy are the showers located on several floors which allow guests who arrive early or are departing later the opportunity to shower and change. Overall, we think this is a well located, good 3.5 star option and reasonably priced.
