The location is good, within comfortable walking distance of the water front area (although there are other hotels closer to this area).Service was good with no exceptions from speedy front desk and friendly restaurant to excellent concierge. Breakfast was nice, but a bit over priced. If we were to return to Auckland, I would have no hesitation in staying at the Crowne Plaza again.

Had a great one night stay at Crowne Plaza Auckland this last Friday night. The hotel seemed quite busy and full as there was an Australian League team staying here, but still got a lovely (and absolutely huge) room on the 26th floor. It felt like I was in a brand new hotel as the room had had a full refurbishment., carpet, fittings, the lot. Even included a Sony Plasma TV. Breakfast was great, full selection and even included speciality coffees at no extra cost, plus the bottomless cups of tea/coffee if you wanted. Restaurant staff were lovely and helpful, along with the guy at the bell desk when checking out. He obviously could see we were checking out and unprompted, he came over to ask if we needed assistance with our bags. Would I stay again? Definitely... Location and consistent level of service determine my choice to return here without question.
Modern, clean, huge room, great views of city (look at the photos!) and central. Great place to stay in Auckland and not at silly prices, probably could find cheaper but this is definitely a luxurious stay for a few nights in the city. When we were there the Pakistani cricket team were staying there too!Room service was very good with good choices, even at 10pm. Breakfast was buffet with lots to chose from and refillable coffee/tea.Onsite safe parking as well.Would definitely recommend to friends.
We stayed in March, and spoiled ourselves slightly and went for one of the executive suites. Due to the exchange rate it was well worth the extra few pounds - these rooms are on the 28th floor - they are very spacious - spread over two floors, with 2 large plasma TV's, double shower and double bath - even his and her's toilet rolls!! It was very comfortable and included excellent breakfast, free internet access and, if you are so inclined, free drinks and nibbles between 5 and 7 in the club lounge. Ate twice in the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent ( and decent portions). We Will stay there again.
Then why not sit backand relax, and leave all the planning and arranging to the best Auckland central city hotel and Crowne Plaza Hotel Auckland?
